Christ-centered Community
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church and that we are members of his body. His message is central to our life. We are called and gifted by God to worship, serve and witness to the saving work of Jesus Christ because we believe that he is the Lord of heaven and earth. All that we do is done in and through the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9-11, John 3:16, Matthew 28:18-20).

Inviting Community
Our church is a great place to belong and a great place to grow. The congregation is committed to being a church that models authentic biblical community through a ministry of small groups in which every individual is cared for and encouraged in his/her daily walk with God. “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.” (Heb 10:25) Teamwork and mentoring are encouraged as we carry out our tasks of serving the Lord together. We believe that the most effective form of sharing our faith happens through people inviting people (Ephesians 4:32; Galatians 6:1-2; 1 Peter 5:2-4).

Empowered by the Holy Spirit
We value God’s presence in our life and congregation through the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our salvation in Jesus Christ, lifts our needs before the Father, and provides us with the power to pursue God’s purposes for our lives, this church and His world (Present in all believers – 1 Cor 12:7; Gal 4:6, is a person - John 16:7-14; Acts 5:3-9, guarantee of our salvation and intercessor – Rom 8:16-17, 26, 27; Eph 1: 13-14, power to impart knowledge of God—1 Cor. 2:11-12, is God—1 Cor 2:12, 12:4-6; Heb 3:7-9; Eph 4:30).

Being Disciples
Being a disciple means believing and living the way Jesus encouraged his disciples to believe and live in the New Testament. New Testament disciples: were woven together as Christ’s Body (1 Cor. 12:19, Heb. 10:24-25), were gifted for works of ministry (2 Tim. 3:17, Rom. 12:3-11), lived under the present rule of God’s kingdom (Mt. 16:24-26, Mk. 1:15), were guided by scripture (2 Tim. 3:16, Jn. 2:22), experienced grace through a loving relationship with Jesus (Jn. 14:6-9, Mt. 6:25-24), were engaged with the world around them through unconventional acts of love to the poor and oppressed (Lk. 5:29-32, Mt. 28:19-20), and were characterized more by the fact and attitude of poverty than by material concerns (Lk. 6:20, Mk. 10:23-27).

Making Disciples
We follow Christ’s command to go and make disciples which at its core is a call to holistic evangelism. It begins with our clear proclamation of the gospel through both word and deed expressed to those whom God has already put in our lives. Once a person comes to faith we then walk alongside our brothers and sisters demonstrating strong faith, joyfully and with kindness, to encourage believers to grow in their faith and to help develop a close relationship with Christ by studying and growing in his word (Ephesians 1:3-14 Spiritual Blessings in Christ, Ephesians 4:11-13 Spiritual Gifts, Matthew 10:1-15 Jesus Calls Disciples, Matthew 9:37 “harvest and workers”, Matthew 28:16-20 “The Great Commission,” Colossians 3:23-24 Serving Christ with all your heart).

Glorifying God
We respond to God's majesty, sovereignty and grace through worship by living so fully and completely for him that he is glorified through everything what we say, do and think as individuals and the body of Christ (Psalm 19:1, Psalm 111:3, Psalm 138:5).

Reflecting God’s love
We seek to reflect God’s sacrificial love by abiding in Christ who transforms us and sets us free to share this love to a world that desperately needs it. By this we seek to love God and neighbor with our whole being as Jesus commands. God’s love expressed in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit is forgiving, good, complete, compassionate, gracious, sacrificial, unconditional, boundless, and unfathomable (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Psalm 86:5, Psalm 103:8, Mark 12:28-31, John 3:16, John 13:34-35, John 15:9-10, Romans 5:5-8, Ephesians 3:17d-19, Ephesians 5:1-2, 1 John 3:16).
